Note: Children under the age of 16 are not allowed inside the exhibition during set up or tear down. No children under the age of 13 are permitted inside the Exhibition unless they are confined in a stroller, backpack or front pack. Children 13 years and older are permitted to
attend the Exhibition during regular exhibit hours with an adult if properly registered and wearing a badge.
Goods and Services Tax (GST) Information
All ACE 2016 registration and event fees are subject to GST. Canadian residents are subject to 5% GST on both convention registration and special event fees (luncheons, short courses, field trips, etc.). Residents of all other countries pay 5% GST on special event fees but receive a visitor tax break on convention registration. Canadian residents must enter GST/HST numbers during the registration process. All registrants will be sent a valid tax invoice following the close of the convention.
Confirmations
A detailed confirmation, including information about the registration type, events selected, payment information, receipt, etc. will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours. Please retain this acknowledgement for your records. Should you not receive a confirmation, please contact the AAPG Registration Center/TPN by email at: [email protected] or phone at +1 781 821 6732. Save time on site by bringing your confirmation that includes a barcode. Badges and tickets will be printed when you check in on site.
Note: Some systems will not print the barcode on the confirmation. In this case your registration ID number or name will be used.
Payment
Registrations cannot be processed unless full payment is received with the registration. Payment may be made by check, money order, credit card or wire transfer. Cash payments in U.S. dollars are accepted on site only. AAPG does not accept purchase orders as a form of payment and does not invoice for conventions.

When making a wire transfer for payment of registration fees it is vitally important to the timely processing of your registration that you observe the following guidelines:

- Banking system does not provide sufficient information on wire transfers to enable us to correctly apply payment.
- Once we have been notified by our bank that the transfer has been received, we will process the registration and email the confirmation/receipt to the email listed on the registration form. Registrations will not be processed prior to notification by our bank that the funds have been received.
- Wires will not be accepted after 20 May 2016, as we cannot guarantee they will be received and applied prior to the start of the convention.

Changes can be made by following the instructions on your confirmation or contact the AAPG Registration Center/TPN by email, fax or telephone. Amendments to your registration or events will be accepted until 16 May.
Cancellations/Refunds
Cancellations can be made by following the instructions on your confirmation or contact the AAPG Registration Center/TPN by email, fax or telephone by 16 May.
Refunds will be processed for convention registrations canceled on or before 16 May, less a US $75 processing fee. You may substitute one participant for another. Refunds will not be issued for "no shows. Refunds will be issued for field trip and short course cancellations made on or before 1 May (unless otherwise noted).
